Set up similar to the original Facebook profile pages, WorkingLife takes information provided in the users profile page, and using a job matching algorithm - the site will send the user 10 job matches daily ported in from InDeed.com. WorkingLife also partnered up with the Department of Labor to provide a wealth of employment data and statistics in our "Research Room". Employers can also sign up corporate profile pages, gain fans and post unlimited job listings. On paid employer accounts, those job listings have a priority over the ported in InDeed listings.

WorkingLife.com (WL) is the convergence of some of the Internet's most used technology provided on sites like Facebook.com, Eharmony.com, and Monster.com into a job matching social networking package. WL provides job seekers with data rich, auto-populating, profiles which serve as professional presentations of themselves. Using site wizards and a relationship matching algorithm job seekers receive more accurate job search results. These more accurate and applicable job matches are updated daily onto the user's WL dashboard as well as arriving in their email inbox. Information gathered in the profile auto-generates a statistically accurate personality profile analyzing their work history against government labor statistics.

Site is written mostly in PHP and utilizes Department of Labor statistics for average salary information and job description information. WorkingLife is currently available for free to both employers and job seekers but the code was written to easily become a "paid site".
