Unfortunately, most traffic sellers on eBay either don't know what they are doing or they are deliberately misleading people! Even though there are a lot of people selling similar sounding traffic plans on eBay and elsewhere, don't be fooled. Most if not all of the other eBay seller's are part-timers and are just copying us or someone else's ad.
Remember, it is not the traffic server software that makes the difference, it is the Source of traffic that makes the difference! Our traffic network operates 10 free servers with over 5000 websites that utilize our proprietary technology to deliver traffic to your website. We also have over 15,000 Expired and High Traffic Domain Names that are pointed to our traffic servers. We deliver quality website traffic at the most competitive rates possible with the fastest service and absolutely no hidden fees.
Unlike many people who sell traffic services, we know what we are doing when it comes to traffic generation, SEO and SEM services. We have hundreds of our own monetized websites and make a full time living online as Internet Marketers. Check our other auctions and see the quality of websites and services we offer.
Even if you decide not to do business with us, take the time to read the rest of this auction listing. I believe you will discover quite a bit about traffic generation and what you should look for in deciding the best methods that will help you reach your website promotion objectives.
Here's an easy way to tell if someone is for "real" when it comes to providing traffic services.
Have you seen those sellers who say something like this: "Suppose you had a product that sold for $10 and you sent a 100,000 visitors to your website and only one tenth of one percent (0.1%) bought. You would make $1,000!!! Now suppose 1% or even 5% bought..." If you see one of those ads, RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN because they either don't know what they are doing or they are deliberately misleading you.
They are simply repeating something they saw somewhere else but that was debunked years ago by those knowledgeable about traffic delivery. Those are the kinds of results you hope you can get from your Google Adwords and other PayPerClick (PPC) campaigns while keeping your PPC ad cost at or under 50% of sales, NOT from the typical traffic plan you see for sale on eBay and elsewhere. People (like us) who are actually successful in Internet and Affiliate marketing do a lot of testing and split testing to find the right combination of headlines, sales content, and offers that produce results.
Successful marketers know that a successful ad campaign will easily cost you 50% of your sales revenue. That is why we do a lot of testing first. They (we) know that if you are getting at least a 2 for 1 return, then crank it up because you have found a winner. Wouldn't you trade 50 cents for a dollar all day long? Of course you would!
And as long as we are being realistic, let's understand what you should expect. The purpose of this traffic is to get your website more exposure by being seen by a real person and testing whether your sales page will cause them to pause long enough to take some sort of action before you roll out a huge ad campaign and spend a lot of money on PPC ads. Hopefully the visitor will find your website valuable and interesting enough to them that they want to Bookmark it to return again. Buyers typically visit a site more than once before they actually buy something. At this price don't expect more than that and be happy when you see other results. If you need more than this, then let's talk.
THERE ARE SO MANY DIFFERENT KINDS OF TRAFFIC FOR SALE IT CAN GET CONFUSING AT TIMES, CAN YOU EXPLAIN THE DIFFERENT KINDS OF TRAFFIC?
In broad terms, traffic can be split into two categories; Paid and Free (though free traffic is not really free). I am not going to list all of the different kinds of traffic here, but just give a brief description of the more popular forms of traffic you often see from various sources.
FREE TRAFFIC: Free traffic can come from such things as manual surf traffic exchanges, search engine results pages (SERPs), a visitor to another website or directory clicking on a reciprocal link to your website, a link in your forum signature, etc.
NOTE: I don't consider auto bots or auto surf traffic exchanges to be traffic since it not very likely that a real person actually sees your website.
As we said, free traffic is not really "free" in the sense that you normally have to put out some time and effort to get it.
PAID TRAFFIC: Paid traffic can come from PayPerClick (PPC) campaigns (Google Adwords for example), PayPerView (PPV) traffic (not easy to get an account with unless you make a large deposit), Redirected traffic ( expired domains or popunder/popup from another website), contextual link in an article, blog post, or press release, paid link from another person's website, solo ads on ezines, email marketing, etc.
PPC is by far the most targeted and most expensive traffic. This is the kind of traffic that will normally bring you buyers. You can either make a lot money or lose a fortune with PPC, depending upon your experience and skill level.
Redirected traffic can be either untargeted and targeted. Redirected traffic is only targeted in the sense of how it is filtered through the ad server; it can be geo targeted by country based upon the visitor's browser settings, or somewhat category targeted by filtering from the original referring niche (category) website.
Redirected traffic that is category targeted does not necessarily mean that you have a better prospect, it just means that they originated from another website with a similar theme or niche as the one you are sending them to, so there is somewhat of a possibility that they may be interested in your niche or category.
WHAT IS THE BEST USE FOR THIS KIND OF REDIRECTED TRAFFIC?
There are two main reasons that knowledgeable marketers buy this kind of traffic. The first is to show an increase in traffic to their main website when they are doing a lot of link building and other SEO/SEM services for their main website. Imagine for a moment a website suddenly has 1,000 or more backlinks yet Google shows no one is visiting the website. Don't you think that would raise a red flag? Google thinks so, too.
The second reason is to try and capture information from a visitors for future follow up. We recommend that (if possible) you generate a special ad page for your traffic campaign (instead of sending them to your websites main page) that may include a special, an outstanding product, weekly special or one time offer. People do not spend a lot of time on a website unless they see something immediately that is of interest to them. That's why it is so important to catch their eye to get them interested to stay and make that decision within seconds! It is best to use your Splash Pages, Social Networking pages (MySpace, etc.), Affiliate Landing Pages, and so on.
HOW DO I GET MY TRAFFIC CAMPAIGN STARTED?
Simply purchase this auction and include your website address (url) in the Notes section when you make your payment through PayPal, or send us a note through the eBay Messaging System with your website information.
WHAT CAN I DO TO GET THE MOST BENEFIT FROM MY TRAFFIC CAMPAIGN?
Assuming that your goal is to maximize the results from second reason above, here are some easy suggestions.
Making your page ready for your ad campaign is as easy as you want it to be. We would suggest designing a whole new page just for the ad. You should use the same techniques that you use in other forms of advertising to get people interested in your product. Use catchy headlines, bright colors, and most of all you need a product that everyone wants!
It is surprising that most customers simply request that traffic be sent to their main page! This is like advertising on television using a picture of a store. You will achieve your best results if you think of a traffic program like a television commercial.
Television commercials are short, quickly grab the viewer s attention and make a clear point. The page you send traffic to should also have these features.
Usually, the main page of a website is simply too cluttered to effectively use a traffic program and a special campaign page should be created. Does the page grab the visitor s attention? Large lettering, headings, attractive images, catch phrases and other common techniques will get users to check out what you have to offer?
If you don't get the visitor s attention FAST, they will simply leave your site! Give them a reason to stay! You can learn something from the campaigns of the major advertisers they NEVER have more than a few words of text and are always colorful. The point isn't to sell right away it is to get the visitor s attention.
ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS ON THE KIND OF WEBSITE CONTENT YOU ACCEPT?
Your site must be legal in the United States. Sites with illegal content, hate text, other questionable or offensive websites including pornography, derogatory or inflammatory language, or sites that promote illegal activities, promoting hacking, etc. are not allowed.
We only send traffic to websites with content that is appropriate for a general audience. Unless specifically stated in the Auction Description, Adult oriented, gambling, casinos, pharma, drug-related, are NOT allowed. If you need traffic for these kind of sites contact us from the appropriate traffic sources.
Your website MAY NOT contain any self-starting sound, self-starting videos, pop or exit windows (exit pages, java pops, pop-ins, fly-ins, pop-unders, etc.) or scripts that change the home page settings, message boxes, download boxes, etc. Generally, people find those annoying, hurting the reputation of all legitimate online businesses. The Golden Rule applies here, your website should be the same quality and provide the same consideration that you would expect from others if you visited their website.
PLEASE NOTE: We Reserve the Right to refuse service to anyone or any website we feel uncomfortable in promoting.
CAN I SPLIT THIS PACKAGE TO USE FOR MORE THAN ONE WEBSITE?
This auction is for a single website url, we will send traffic to only one website address (URL) for every website traffic package that you purchase. Once you have purchased a website traffic package and submitted the URL for that package it cannot be changed after the traffic campaign is set and running.
If you would like to send website traffic to multiple URLs, you will need to purchase a website traffic package for each of the URLs.
In other words, each traffic package cannot be split up to serve multiple websites. You may NOT use a rotator or redirector, and the url you provide must be the same as the domain name (no tiny urls, etc.) of your website.
WHEN CAN I EXPECT TO START RECEIVING TRAFFIC?
Your Campaign will generally be started within one business day, and often within just hours of payment. We define a business day as Monday through Friday except for normally recognized US Holidays if they fall on a weekday.
Our office is normally open for business during the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM US Central Time Zone. During these hours we try to take care of any orders received over the weekend (if it is a Monday), from after hours orders placed from the previous day, or orders received during the current business day.
After a traffic campaign is set up, it is placed in queue until it goes live. Once it goes live we send our tracking link to your eBay email address. Please check your eBay Messages once you login to your eBay account if you do not see it in your normal email inbox or spam filter.
WHEN CAN I EXPECT TO RECEIVE ALL OF MY TRAFFIC?
Most campaigns will be completed well within 30 days, most likely much faster because we have several million visitors a month to our network of websites. Small campaigns of under 5,000 visitors may be completed in a day or two.
Since we are sending you real, live human visitors we really cannot control how many visitors you will get in a day. Some days you will get more than others. However, for most campaigns of 100,000 or less you can expect to get all your visitors within 30 days or less. Larger campaigns may take a few days longer.
WILL I GET UNIQUE VISITORS?
At this price we are not guaranteeing unique visitors. Some percentage will be unique and that percentage will vary from day-to-day. We do have 'IP Unique' visitor campaigns available with a premium charge and with a minimum order of 10,000 visitors if you need unique visitors. We can send you 'IP Unique' visitors that are 12 hour unique, 24 hour unique, and even 100% FULL CAMPAIGN unique. Simply let us know your needs and we can give you a quote at a price that few others can match.
HOW CAN I TRACK MY CAMPAIGN?
All campaigns come with FREE LIVE STATS to check your campaign status while it is in progress. We will send you our proprietary tracking link by email through the eBay messaging system (be sure to check your eBay email address) after your campaign has begun.
WILL THIS TRAFFIC SHOW UP ON THIRD PARTY COUNTERS?
Although this traffic is for real visitors who will actually see your full page and will show up in your actual RAW Server logs, it will probably NOT show up in Google Analytics or other third party trackers. Their software is not able to distinguish individual visitors that come from our own traffic server tracking system. For that reason you should rely on the tracker link we provide you and you can verify our count in your RAW server logs on your hosting account.
To understand why your third party counter may not track our visitors properly, an explanation of how our traffic redirection process works may be helpful.
Basically, our traffic comes from a large network of specialized websites that receive thousands of visitors every day; we collect this traffic and, using a proprietary algorithm, deliver it to our customers websites through our main traffic servers.
A. The redirection process consists of three separate steps:
1. A visitor visits one of the sites in our advertising network (we have thousands of different sites).
2. Your website is loaded through our traffic network in a separate window, based on the requirements of that traffic campaign.
3. This visit is sent back to our traffic server (instantly) and only later to the website third party counter (if any).
In order to track our traffic we developed an internal counter that resides on the same traffic server that handles your campaign. We designed it this way to minimize the delay between the time your website is shown in our advertising network and the time that the visit is counted.
Every time your site is shown in the network, our internal counter tracks it and shows it as a visit. Thanks to this server architecture, our counter never advances unless your site is visited through the server. In other words, the hit count is incremented at the same exact time a visitor is sent to your site. To make sure that our internal counter only tracks visits being redirected from our advertising network we assign each campaign a unique URL that is strictly connected to the counter.
B. Here s a list of the most common issues that we have experienced using third party counters with our traffic.
1. Missing Traffic in the Redirection Process
When we redirect a large number of visitors from our network to your site passing through our traffic server, there are chances that a small portion of this traffic will be lost and never tracked. While this number is extremely low using our counter (it is installed on the same server that redirect the visitors to your site), it may be higher with third party stats and even raw server logs.
As an example, imagine a State Trooper sitting on the side of the highway with a radar gun: if there is not much traffic, a car or two per second, the radar gun will have no difficulties in keeping track of the speed of each car. However, when traffic is very high and at very high speed, say 10 cars per second in each lane, the radar gun a will have a hard time accurately gauging the speed (counting) all the cars that pass by, and will surely miss some. That said, it is important to understand that, even if some of our visitors are not counted by your third party tracker, you can be assured that they have been successfully redirected to your website: not being tracked by the radar gun doesn't mean that a car hasn't passed the State Trooper's position.
2. Separate Server Tracking
When you use a third party stat counter, you will be asked to add a small portion of html code in the pages of your website. This is how they track a visitor that visited that page. In order for the third party counter to track a visitor, an input is sent from your site to the tracker server. In other words, your site is telling the tracker server, through that code, that a visitor actually visited your page. Unfortunately, this input relies on multiple factors including the connection speed of your website, the connection speed of the tracker server and its response time. Even if in the vast majority of cases a visit is correctly tracked, it may happen that, when there are multiple visits being sent in a very short timeframe, the tracker server misses some of the inputs being sent by the code on your site and this results in a wrong traffic count.
3. Load Time
Load time is the time needed to load your page, and may vary between a few milliseconds to a few seconds. Given the way our traffic server works, we do not need a website to fully load to track it in our system. As soon as the site is shown in our network, we count it as a visit. Instead, third party counters may take more time to count the visit or need to load the page completely in order to load the counter code and register that visit as a hit. We cannot control the behavior of the end users, or force them to stay on the site a certain length of time. If they choose to 'close out' prior to your counter load, it is still considered a delivered visitor by us, but the third party counter may not record it.
4. Filters
Many third party counters have filters in place to recognize visits that have specific characteristics, and show them only once or even block them from being recorded. Based on the way our traffic server works, we redirect people from just one URL (the URL of our traffic server, through which visitors are redirected from the advertising network to your website) and can possibly redirect many visitors within a very short timeframe (i.e. 10 visitors every second). Third party counters may filter this traffic and prevent it from being showed in the total visitor count. Here s an example: we redirect 20 visitors from 20 different pages in our advertising network to your website within 10 seconds. Actually, you have received 20 potential leads that are not connected to each other whatsoever (each one comes from a different site in our network). Anyway, a regular third party counter will record these visitors as coming from the same site (our traffic server at insidertraffic.com and some of our other ad servers, ) within a very short timeframe ( example: 10 seconds) and it is most likely to show these 20 visitors as just ONE visitor (same site, short timeframe). Thus, 19 real visitors were missed by the third party counter because it wrongly filtered them.
5. Real Time Update
When we show you site in our network, we immediately track it and show it as a visit in our internal counter. This is done in real time. Anyway, many third party counters (especially Google Analytics) are not updated in real time and experience a delay between the time a visitor is recorded and the time it's showed in the logs. Please make sure to wait at least 12 hours before comparing our and third party stats.
6. Tracker Downtime
Third party counters, and particularly the free ones, often experience downtime during peak periods and do not count traffic received during that timeframe.
7. Many More Reasons
There may be many more reasons a specific third party counter does not count our traffic, including both counter issues (javascripts, IP filtering, counting algorithms) and user issues. Please keep on reading to learn more about a third party tracker that works with our traffic.
Many of the 'referrer' URLs you will see come from insidertraffic.com and other of ad servers. That is because actual visitors are first redirected through our servers. For this reason, the visitors will present a HTTP_REFERRER variable that references one of our servers. This helps assure that the traffic we send to your site is legitimate and properly targeted.
We have noticed that one of the most popular counters, StatCounter (www.statcounter.com) works pretty well with our traffic. Given all the limits specified in B. above (especially #1 and #2), we found that the percentage of traffic counted by this third party counter is pretty high and can reach up to 70% of what is shown by our counter.
Please note that even StatCounter will not show 100% of our traffic compared to our internal statistics. This mainly happens because some traffic is lost in the cyberspace during the redirection process between the advertising network and your website passing through our traffic sever (see step 1 and step 3, in A. above ). That said, it is important to understand that, even if a visitor is not counted by your counter, the visitor has indeed been successfully redirected to your website.
The only reliable method is to check your website host RAW SERVER LOGS. They will track almost all of our traffic since they don't have any third party code installed that has to report the visitor to the third party stats server and don't have any load time (see #1, #2 and #3 in B. above).
If you see a discrepancy between our counter and yours, make sure to understand why this may have happened and try to use a counter that tracks our traffic delivery system very well (StatCounter is an example).
We understand that many of our customers may be surprised by our traffic not showing up 100% in their third party stats, but it is not unusual for different systems to be incompatible. We have no reason not to give you all the visitors you have ordered. In is in our best interest to deliver what you have ordered and keep you as a returning customer. Many of our customers reorder frequently and some use us exclusively, so we must be doing something right!
